In order for the search to display products available for international delivery, you need to set a search filter. In catalog view, on the right, at the very bottom of the page, find "International Shipping" and check the box next to "AmazonGlobal Eligible".

But international delivery is always paid (except for EU countries) and many products are not available for it. Therefore, it is more logical to use the forwarder's address, although the buyer always decides.

All prices on Amazon.de are displayed with VAT included (MwSt) calculated for Germany. Its value is 19% and varies depending on the product category. The reduced rate of 7% applies in particular to books, food, etc. The tax is charged even on used, unpacked goods.

However, you pay tax only if you send your order within Germany, incl. to the warehouse of the forwarding company. If your delivery address is in another country of the European Union, then the rates of this tax are applied based on its legislation. For example, in Poland the general rate is 23%, in Estonia 20%.

You will see information that the tax is included in the price in the description of any product, near its price and delivery details. In the line "All prices include VAT".

If the delivery address is outside the EU, then you do not pay value added tax - it is deducted automatically at the last step, when placing an order. However, the cost of direct delivery is often less beneficial than paying tax and using a forwarder.

You can always look at all the information regarding the accrued tax at the final step when placing an order. On the right, pay attention to the line "Order Totals include VAT" - VAT is included in the order price.

These sites have not only a common interface, but also an internal system of linked accounts, the only thing that makes them different is the language.
Our advice: use google browser Chrome, it will automatically help you translate the page into Russian (after clicking right button mouse on any text select the line “Translate into Russian” from the drop-down list). The quality of the translation, of course, is not artistic, but it will be much easier to navigate.

Important about payment: Not every card is suitable for payment on amazon.
Cards such as Visa Electron and MasterCard Cirrus / Maestro are usually not suitable because they are intended only for withdrawing money from an ATM or for payment in special terminals.
Visa Classic and higher or MasterCard Standard and higher are usually suitable for purchases on amazon. The currency of the card does not matter (“ruble”, “dollar” or “euro”), but it should be borne in mind that if a currency conversion takes place, then at an unfavorable rate.

Registration at Amazon.de

To get into the registration form, you need to click on "Main Amazon" slightly to the right of the logo itself, or on the button with the text “Mein Konto” to the right of the search field.
You get to the page where in the first line enter your email address (in Fig. [email protected]) and check the first box “Nein, ich bin ein neuer Kunde” (informing you that you are a new customer). Press the yellow long button "Weiter ..."

In the next window, you need to fill in more detailed information About Me:

• Mein Name ist: Your name (in the picture Boris, for example)
• Meine E-Mail-Address lautet: Your e-mail
• Bitte nochmal eingeben: please repeat your email
• Geben Sie ein neues Passwort ein: Pick a password
• Bitte nochmal eingeben: please repeat your password

By pressing the yellow button with the text “Konto anlegen” you successfully complete the registration and you can proceed to
shopping.

How to fill in an address in Amazon

In order for the seller to know to which address your order should be sent, these data must be filled in. And it is better to do this before you start shopping, so that later you do not waste time on it.
Please note that you can add multiple shipping addresses. This is convenient if you want to shop with different deliveries: directly to Russia, for example, and / or to the address of an intermediary in Germany.
So, to enter the first or new address data, you need to click on the button "Main Konto"(to the right of the search bar) and select from the large list in the orange section "Einstellungen" string "Neue Adresse hinzufügen" and click on it. In the picture below, a finger indicates where it is.

You will see a form in which you need to enter the details of the delivery address. Consider shipping to Russia to your home address:
Fill in all data in Latin letters, i.e. in English!

• Vor- und Nachname: First Name Last Name
• Firmenname: miss, do not write anything
• Straße und Hausnummer: street name, house number, building and apartment number (spelling options: Lyubaya 10-9. Remember that Russian postal or courier service employees will deliver you, you don't need to write “Str”, “App”, it will work as in the figure below )
• Stadt: City
• Postleitzahl: Index
• Land: Country
• Telefonnummer für Rückfragen: Mobile phone number for communication.

Recheck and click on the button "Speichern und weiter"

Or you can click on the yellow button “Speichern und Zahlungsmethode hinzufügen” (save and add a payment method), then you will be redirected to a page where you can enter the card details with which you want to make payments. But, if you use multiple cards or want to pay via PayPal, you better not get confused and skip this step by clicking on the second gray button "Speichern und weiter".

Now you can make purchases, just in the “Delivery” step you will be prompted to select one of the addresses filled in this way as the order delivery address.

How to choose on Amazon

To begin with, you need to decide on the product that you plan to buy. The characteristics of this or that product, of course, are more convenient to compare at the manufacturer, and the prices are already among different sellers, i.e. on Amazon.
The Amazon search engine can be used almost like any other search engine on the Internet (Google, Yandex, etc.), only write the name of the product, brand and model as a request.
Consider, for example, searching for a Canon EOS 1200D camera. We enter this text into the search bar, select the most suitable option from the proposed list of products, and then inside you can see similar offers at prices. A line is highlighted in the picture, which is worth paying attention to in order to compare prices and equipment of the camera.
You can choose from the new offers: 61 neu ab EUR 329.00 - 61 new from 329 euros;
and from used ones: 5 gebraucht ab EUR 299.00 - 5 used from 299 euros.

After clicking on the numbers highlighted in blue (61 neu or 5 gebraucht), a page will open with a selection of the same or similar products from different sellers. Unfortunately, the Amazon system is not perfect and it is simply impossible to see details about a product with a particular price on this page. To find out more details about a product from this list, you need to put this product in the basket (on the right is the “In den Einkaufswagen” button), and from the basket, follow the link from the name of the product.
Make your choice on the described page, based not only on the price, but also on the rating of the seller (stars) and reviews of his work (next to the asterisks there is% "positive", click and look on the new page the right column under the heading "Aktuelles Feedback" ).

How to buy on Amazon

We proceed to the step of paying for the selected product.
We go to the basket, check that it contains only what you need, nothing more. Click on the button on the right “Zur Kasse gehen“... (Amazon may ask you to confirm your account login)
The next step is to choose a delivery address from the options that you have already filled out (), or you can add a new one directly from this page by clicking on the blue text “geben Sie eine neue Versandadresse ein” in the first sentence.

After determining to which address your purchase will be sent, click on the orange button below it “An diese Adresse senden“.
Amazon will take you to a page where you can choose the shipping speed (if the seller has that choice). Of course, the faster, the more expensive. This is usually true for sending the order to the address of the reseller.
The next step is to choose a payment method. It also depends on the conditions of the seller. Choose the most convenient one from those offered and pay.
Confirmation of payment for the order will be the assignment of a multi-digit number to it.
