Contact lenses have long ceased to be a luxury for most people in Russia. Nowadays, you can buy them even in a regular vending machine. To do this, you need to select the necessary diopters in the menu, throw in the required amount - and voila! The product simply falls into your hands, like an ordinary chocolate bar or a bottle of soda. But do you know how to properly carry and maintain an optical device? After all, competent eye lens care is a guarantee of the absence of ophthalmic problems.

Why is it so important to care for your lenses?

The eyeball is a fragile and delicate organ. Therefore, caring for their daytime counterparts, soft and hard varieties, is important: it reduces the risk of various inflammations and infections. Moreover, this also applies to those diseases that can lead to complete blindness. Ophthalmologists say that when an optical device is worn, a mucous substance can be deposited in the corners of the eyes, and fats and proteins can be deposited on the surface itself. Their number is very small and invisible from the outside. But your eyes feel them sensitively: visual acuity decreases, wearing lenses often becomes uncomfortable.

This is why proper lens care can help you avoid the above problems... Moreover, in the 21st century, it does not require any special efforts: it is worth going to the nearest pharmacy or specialty store and buying everything you need. The assortment includes various lens cleaning products, solutions that help to keep them in proper condition. They save human resources: effort, time and money.

Everything you need to know about lenses

The optical device can be worn by people of any age. This category also includes older retirees. There is an opinion that at the end of life the eyes lose their former ability of high-quality hydration. Accordingly, lenses with this function increase the comfort level during the day. As for adolescents, usually the doctor allows them to use the device from the age of 13. Although everything is very individual. There are many 8 year olds who are willing to wear lenses. In any case, amateur performance in this matter is not welcomed: consultation of an ophthalmologist is needed in each individual case.

The rules for the care of contact lenses provide for wearing them for no more than 5 hours. Although after this time, if there are no negative sensations, the use can be extended. The lenses need to be changed every quarter, although there are devices for only monthly and even daily functioning. It is recommended to wear lenses for no more than 10 years, after which the transition to glasses is necessary and inevitable.

The main disadvantage of lenses and how to deal with it

The optical device significantly increases visual acuity, makes the gaze clear, focused and clear. But, unfortunately, it also has some disadvantages. For example, if you ignore the care of long-term lenses or other lenses, they will become dull and cloudy. The fact is that they are made of a hydrogel material that has a fairly porous structure. Accordingly, the lenses, like a sponge, absorb dust and dirt. At the same time, they pass air well to the surface of the visual organ, saturate it with moisture and increase several times the state of human comfort.

Care of hard lenses, as well as soft or colored lenses, involves the use of only special products approved by professional ophthalmologists. Their chemical and physical composition is not capable of harming the eye; it is aimed exclusively at the safe use of the device and maintaining safety for humans. Any solutions must be of high quality, while it is very important not to forget to check their expiration date.

How to properly remove and put on your lenses?

This procedure is very important. She is the first stage of the process, it is with her that the care of the lenses for the eyes begins. Before any manipulation of the optical device, you should thoroughly wash your hands with soap and dry them with a clean towel. In this case, the structure of the tissue must be smooth, otherwise small villi will remain on the fingers and can get into the eye or "settle" on the lens. This, in turn, will cause various inflammations of the optic organ. The use of ordinary tap water leads to similar problems: it is hard, and moreover, it can contain many pathogenic bacteria and microorganisms. Make it a rule to wash your hands only with boiled liquid.

Then you can start putting on or removing the lens. In the first case, gently take it with the tip of your finger and place it on the surface of the optic organ, in the second, take it out with the same tip of the phalanx and put it on the palm, smeared with a specialized solution. By the way, after removing the lens, you need to wipe it a little: with circular movements of your finger, for 15 seconds. Then the device is turned inside out and the manipulation is repeated.

Proper cleansing

On the jar of most special solutions there is an inscription no rub, which translates as "a product that does not require mechanical cleaning." Despite this, the rules of lens care provide for not neglecting this procedure. This is because mechanical cleaning of the optical device, that is, wiping its surface with a fingertip using a solution, gives the maximum effect. Also, professional products are used to rinse the lenses in order to wash off all foreign microparticles from their surface. Then they are placed in a special storage container.

It is important to remember that caring for night lenses or other types of lenses does not involve reusing the solution. Fresh liquid must not be added to an unclean container containing the remains of the old product. The lens should be completely submerged in the solution, only after making sure you can close the lid tightly. It is believed that absolute and complete disinfection requires storing the device in liquid for at least eight hours. But the exact time depends on the quality of the product.

Caring for colored lenses

The procedure has a number of features. First of all, they relate to contact lens care products. It is better to store colored optical devices in 0.9% sodium chloride - NaCl. In this case, the cleaning scheme consists of the following stages: the lenses are kept in a solution of hydrogen peroxide (3%) for 15 minutes, for the same amount of time they are placed in sodium thiosulfate (2.5%), then transferred to storage in a container with a special physiological agent ...

The scheme is, in principle, traditional. But it differs in the obligatory use of liquids, which contain hydrogen peroxide. It is an excellent disinfectant without causing allergic reactions. After immersion in such a liquid, the lenses get rid of any microbes on their surface. In addition, peroxide in such formulations lends itself to reaction - decomposition, after which no active aggressive chemicals remain in the liquid.

Features of storage of different types of lenses

Optical devices are of two types: soft and hard. The first ones are made from polymeric materials, hydrogels and silicone. They are flexible, plastic, and allow enough moisture and oxygen to pass to the surface of the eye. Caring for soft contact lenses includes all of the above procedures. As for hard lenses, they consist of the same polymers, only denser. They are used for complex corneal defects: for example, to correct high degrees of astigmatism. Caring for hard lenses also requires the same solutions. Despite the fact that such devices are more dense, they must be handled carefully. It is very easy to damage them due to their increased fragility and tendency to deformations.

Store all types of lenses in a container. In appearance, these are two small round containers, interconnected by a thin partition. Usually each has a different color so as not to confuse where the left and right sides are stored. Each section of the container is closed with a separate lid, thereby preventing liquid spillage or evaporation. Change the capacity itself once a year.

This must be remembered

The rules for the care of contact lenses are not limited to the above recommendations. There are a number of other necessary manipulations that accompany the wearing and storage of this optical device. First, ophthalmologists talk about the need to avoid touching any surfaces of the tube spout or solution bottle. This can lead to lens contamination. Secondly, it is undesirable to get water from the tap on it - this is fraught with infection. Third, keep containers clean. Change the fluid in them regularly.

Eye lens care, especially competent and thorough, is a guarantee that ophthalmic problems will bypass you. If you still have trouble, immediately seek help from a medical institution. There may be several reasons for visiting a doctor: dryness in the optic organ, increased sensitivity to light, foreign body sensation, discharge in a large number as well as itching, pain, burning, or redness of the eye.

Fixed assets

First of all, it is worth mentioning multifunctional solutions for the care of contact lenses. They are used at all stages: rinsing, disinfection, cleaning and storage. For example, Synergi, Opti-Free Express, Multi Action and others. They do not provide for mechanical cleaning of the surface. At the same time, manual removal is more effective, so doctors recommend not to neglect it. Back in 2009, solution manufacturers received an instruction from the Center for Equipment and Radiological Medical Research to include in the annotation to the devices a recommendation for friction - mechanical cleaning of the lens.

Care may include so-called peroxide systems: One Step, Peroxid, Ever Clean and others. A solution of hydrogen peroxide (3%) is responsible for disinfection in them. In those containers that are sold with such a product, a kind of neutralization system is built in. When using the solution, it is strictly forbidden to rinse the optical device immediately before putting it on - this can cause burns to the eye shell. The system is ideal for people who are sensitive to preservatives in multifunctional products.

Daily cleaning methods

Eye lens care is impossible without them. This line includes products such as Multison, Renu Multi Plus and so on. Typically these solutions are used for cleaning. Other fluids can be used during flushing and disinfection. The lens surface is cleaned in this way: a small amount of solution is dripped onto it and, with a finger, wipe its surface for about twenty seconds. The means for removing protein deposits are also very good, especially the Avizor Enzyme and Sauflon tablets stand out - they dissolve easily in a multifunctional solution.

Daily manipulations include not only lens care, but also the eye itself. After all, prolonged wearing of an optical device often causes a feeling of dryness in the visual organ. Therefore, ophthalmologists advise people to use moisturizing drops every day: Comfort Drops, Sensitive Eyes and others. Drops containing hyaluronic acid also work well. They bind and retain moisture while effectively acting on the surface of the cornea. These drops include Oxyal and Hilo-Komod.

Other necessary funds

These are saline solutions "Likotin Universal" or "Likotin Comfort". They are used for storage and rinsing, as well as for processing an optical device using high temperature or ultraviolet radiation. They are sometimes used in conjunction with effervescent dissolving tablets or other lens disinfectants and cleaning agents. It is impossible to use only saline solutions in daily care. Proper lens care can be done with cleaning devices - they disinfect with ultrasonic waves. First, the lens is treated with a multifunctional solution and only then is it placed in this apparatus.

Speaking of lens care products, enzymatic cleaners are also worth mentioning. These are all the same tablets that help to remove excess protein deposits, dirt, dust and mucus from the surface of the optical device. Effervescent products dissolve easily in any cleaner, mix with it to a homogeneous structure. The lenses are dipped in them for 15 minutes, after which disinfectants are applied.

With daily wearing of corrective vision or colored lenses, protein deposits form on the surface of such products, bacteria are deposited. When caring for contacts, it is important to keep them clean using special tools and means.

Proper storage of contact lenses

Regardless of the type of lenses, before putting them on or putting them on, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Better to use an antibacterial agent. Lenses do not require special storage, but for multi-day products, you need to purchase a solution, container, tweezers for extraction.

Any have a porous structure that is capable of accumulating not only liquid, but also various substances. To remove them and not harm your eyes, you need to thoroughly clean the lenses. To do this, after removing the contact lenses, they must be rinsed with a solution; for constant care, a multifunctional product is optimal.

To rinse the lenses, you need to pour a few drops of the solution onto their surface, gently rub the products with pads. After that, you need to pour a fresh product into the container and place the contact lenses in the cells. The lens holder also needs to be washed daily to keep infection out of the eyes. It is essential to take care of your contact lenses every time you remove them.

Considerations when caring for your lenses

In no case should contact lenses be stored in ordinary water, even if it is filtered, or in distilled liquid. The container is necessary to prevent drying of the material, as well as saturation of the lenses with moisture and their cleaning. After cleaning contact lenses, they must be immersed in the solution for at least four hours.

Ideally, the lens container should be changed once a month, and the same rule applies to tweezers. Be sure to monitor the expiration date of the solution, the product should not be stored in the sun or in a warm place.

Long-term lenses are also cleaned once a week additionally using enzyme or enzyme solutions, tablets. They provide high-quality removal of dirt, the time for which you need to place contact lenses in such a solution varies depending on the type of product. However, special cleaning should be carried out only as directed by a doctor; it is not recommended to use enzyme solutions without consulting a specialist.

Contact lenses are a very convenient, but at the same time, very vulnerable remedy for correcting poor vision. Delicate lenses are easy enough to damage or break, they get dirty easily. Modern lenses are made from a porous hydrogel that absorbs moisture well and allows the eye to breathe. But along with all these advantages, the hydrogel has such an unpleasant feature as susceptibility to dirt. Therefore, if in the matter of vision correction your choice fell on the lenses http://www.linzshop.ru/. they need to be looked after carefully. Let's dwell on the main points of how to clean contact lenses.

To carry out lens cleaning procedures, you will have to purchase a container, special plastic tweezers and a cleaning solution.

Surface contaminants such as dust and lint can be easily washed off the lenses with a solution. But, if you do not regularly take care of them, dirt will accumulate on the inside of the lens and it can be not only all kinds of specks, but also microorganisms. The fact is that the lens is constantly in contact with the surface of the eye, as a result of which organic deposits accumulate on its surface. This is fraught not only with the unsuitability of the lenses, but also with all kinds of eye diseases. You can only avoid such negative consequences if you constantly clean your contact lenses and rinse them. To carry out the appropriate procedures in any optics, you can easily find special solutions that are safe for eye health. You need to choose only high-quality solutions and be sure to pay attention to the shelf life of the solution, otherwise the risk of serious eye diseases is very high. The easiest way to clean lenses is with multipurpose solutions formulated specifically for cleaning, rinsing, disinfecting, and storing lenses.

Hands should be thoroughly cleaned with soap and water before contacting the lenses. It is better to take out and put the lenses in a special container using plastic tweezers.

The very procedure for cleaning contact lenses is as follows. Pour fresh solution into a well-washed container, put the lens on the palm of your hand so that its concave surface faces upward and drip the solution inside it. Then, with your index finger, you need to slightly press the lens and rub it. After cleaning, the lens is rinsed well in a cleaning solution.

Disinfect the lenses by placing them in a container with fresh solution for at least 4 hours.

As you can see, in how to clean contact lenses. there is nothing difficult. The main thing is to regularly carry out such a cleansing procedure.

The lens material, hydrogel, is very vulnerable to dirt. Any dirt: specks, dust particles, grains of sand, microorganisms. The result is contamination of the lens from the inside, and the accumulation of organic deposits on it. And since it constantly comes into contact with the surface of the eye, the risk of getting eye diseases increases dramatically. That's why. To preserve health, lenses need daily, or at the very least, weekly cleaning. Before you clean contact lenses, one thing should be learned: this instrument for correcting vision is very fragile, and if handled carelessly, breakouts, ruptures and deformations are possible. Therefore, the process requires careful preparation.

Where to begin? Of course, with the preparation of tools: a container, plastic tweezers and a special solution. Each container has two compartments and exactly one lens must be placed in each compartment. If the vision on the right and left eyes does not match, it is better to purchase a container that has the appropriate marks for each specific (left / right) compartment. Tweezers are needed for hygiene reasons: it is better to touch the lenses with them than with a thoroughly washed hand. The solution must be recommended by an ophthalmologist. It is best if it is multi-purpose, with the help of which not only the question of how to clean contact lenses is solved, but also how to disinfect, how to store them and how to rinse them. When changing solutions and cleaning agents, pay attention to their compatibility.

The very process of cleaning contact lenses, ideally, begins immediately after removing them and includes:

thorough hand washing,

rinsing the container and filling it with fresh solution,

removing the lens, which is placed on the palm so that the concave surface is at the top,

dripping onto the lens with a solution, lightly pressing on it with the index finger,

then thoroughly rinsing it in the container solution.

Once in the container, the lens must be completely immersed in the solution. To disinfect it, it is recommended to take it out of the solution with tweezers, pour in a special disinfectant and leave it alone for at least four hours, and preferably overnight. To make it easier for yourself, you can purchase several containers at once for different purposes.

There is another way to clean your contact lenses. In the compartment of the container filled with fresh solution, dissolve a protein cleaner tablet. Then the lens is removed, cleaned and washed, and then placed in the compartment. The same steps are repeated with the other compartment. The container is closed. Shaken and left alone for fifteen minutes. If the lens is heavily contaminated, the time increases, but does not exceed two hours. The cleaned lenses are removed from the container and rinsed with a solution. Then the solution is replaced with a disinfection solution.

Naturally, you should not save on solutions when cleaning lenses. Its expiration date must be carefully checked. The lenses are wiped on both sides. In this case, both the lenses before putting on, and the neck of the container with the solution must be clean.

Contact lenses are excellent at absorbing dirt. And the problem lies not only in surface dust particles and hairs, which are easy to wash off with a solution. Lenses, if not cared for, get dirty from the inside. It can be both specks, grains of sand and various substances, and harmful microorganisms. Constant contact with the surface of the eyeballs leads to the formation of organic deposits on the lenses. These factors not only render the lens unusable, they increase the risk of developing eye diseases. To avoid loss of health and vision, lenses (especially long-term wear) should be rinsed and cleaned daily or weekly.

To do this, purchase special solutions approved by ophthalmologists. They are formulated to meet the safety requirements for eye health. But poor-quality products with an expired shelf life can provoke serious diseases, up to blindness. The simplest and most effective way to care for contact lenses is to use multipurpose solutions. They are designed for storing, cleaning, disinfecting and rinsing contact lenses.

Before each contact with the lenses, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Use plastic tweezers to remove and place the lenses in the container.

Contact lenses are cleaned in the following sequence. Fill the washed container with fresh solution, place the lens on the palm of your hand with the concave surface up. Drop the solution onto the lens, lightly press down with your index finger and rub the lens surface, after cleaning, rinse the product thoroughly in the solution.

To disinfect the lenses, use tweezers to remove the solution from the solution, pour fresh product into the container and immerse the lenses in it for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight). Lenses are ready to wear.

Cleaning lenses after clouding

Hello!
Tell me how and what to clean the lenses after they become dirty and, as a result, cloudy?

For two years I wore Johnson for Astigmatism 2-week Siilicon hydrogel lenses, Senofilcon A material, a non-ionic polymer that resists the formation of deposits.
There were no problems. Recently, lenses have begun to deteriorate faster. I read about it in the internet, I decided to clean the lenses with peroxide cleaning. But either they have already crossed the line and cannot already be cleaned (although the deadline has not yet passed), or this cleaning does not help in my case of contamination (
Is Enzymatic Purification Deeper?

Although the lens becomes cleaner, you can see how moisture escapes along its surface and it becomes dry - hence it is opaque to the eye. We can see this on the surface of dishes or glass, how the surface remains dry due to the flow of water over it. Why is this happening? And can this be changed so that when soaking into a solution or blinking, the lens always remains wet?

What to do? how to be Is it cleaned? or vice versa, does it mean that the lens is stripped of some of its coating?

By searching on the internet, I see that I have no such symptoms. If only not the very initial stage.

We are not talking about the same pair, of course. The fact of the matter is that the planned replacement was carried out, and I used to throw out absolutely normal lenses, even. and then they began to deteriorate faster (

Some time ago, I lost the lens in my eye (it is difficult for me to remove them - I remove it by moving it towards the bridge of the nose). Unknowingly, I thought that she was still in the eye and looked for her there for a long time. The sensations in the eye were such that it seemed she was there. Completely tired, I decided to calm my eye, even if it was there. The next morning it was easier, and then after a couple of days, I realized that she was probably not there (she probably fell out right away), because the eye calmed down. And since then, by the morning, for some time, discharge was formed, which is usually the case in normal people, but to a greater extent. I decided that it was all because of my injury to the eyelid and mucous membranes.

Time has passed, and it seems that by the morning everything is fine with me. But I noticed that the lenses began to deteriorate much faster. And with both eyes. Yes, I understand that there is a risk of transmission of infection from one eye to another through the hands, even.
But what is this and will it pass over time?

And further main question(within the topic). How can you clean the lens, which seems to be cleaned, but the solution does not hold on to it? A new lens is not a solution, p.p. the rate of damage is such that it is just right to switch to one-day, and this is more expensive financially. Well, if only for a while, then yes. you can wait for one day. You can wear less. But how do you clean them? and is it cleaned? Maybe this is, on the contrary, a sweep?

It seems to me that this is already a cleanup - because of the deposited protein and its subsequent purification, some kind of polish layer is being removed. And this is already irreversible for the lens. Well, what if someone has a solution. Share if someone has it.

So far, a few questions -
Does this happen with lenses from the same packaging? How exactly was it cleaned with a peroxide solution?

Thank you | Fortunetellers on vacation, or requirements for creating themes

Well, if this is a cleaning, then the solution here (for me) is to carry out peroxide cleaning before heavy contamination appears, so that during mechanical cleaning with a finger you do not damage the lens and do not clean its polish.

Do I understand this decision correctly for myself?
It is clear that this is provided that my eyes will calm down after a while. And if not, then it is necessary to reduce the use of lenses in principle, perhaps for a while.

Still, it's better for an appointment. Symptoms, other than rapid contamination, may not be present, but upon examination, a specialist will see changes in the condition of the eyes.

Yes, understand(
I went to the appointment, but I was not warned that I had to be without lenses for 2 hours and was sent without examination. Now we need to get together again. Eh, if only they said exactly what happened to the eyes. but there will also be an intuitive solution, p.ch. there are no obvious signs of the disease.

So far, a few questions -
Does this happen with lenses from the same packaging?

No, from different ones. And moreover, from the packaging of the first rapid contamination I remember the normal behavior of the lenses at the beginning of the use of this packaging.

How exactly was it cleaned with a peroxide solution?

I know that I need to clean it with AoSept_om. But I wanted to try it quickly (there is no access to AoSept within the radius of stay now), and applied the usual hydrogen peroxide. And now I see that moisture does not linger on the lens.
I know about a burn with non-neutralized peroxide. And while I just clean, I try.

Enzyme cleaners are unambiguous.

Forget about regular peroxide. Forever and ever. (Flicking flash like in MIB).

Do you think Aosept will clean it cleaner? I'm still interested in the cleaning result itself.
In theory, in Aosept, peroxide is almost immediately neutralized by a catalyst, and the effect of the neutralizing peroxide is even weaker than with just peroxide.

Open a new pair of lenses, buy Aosept and strictly follow the instructions. Do not clean the lens mechanically yet (maybe rubbing too hard).
If there is early pollution with this pair too -appointment to the doctor.
And it is better to go to an appointment first, maybe there will be a need for treatment.

Well, I wear new lenses from time to time. Aosept only has to try to clean it. I'll try.
And I need to see a doctor, I'll go.

Annochka. change the solution, for example to UNICA SENSITIVE. The lenses may be lacking moisture.

Do not forget that I have silicone hydrogels - Senafilcon material from group 1. Can they suffer from inadequate hydration? Hardly. Yes, and my solution is Bio True (B & ampL), it seems like it is considered good.

But I'm actually wondering how a lens surface can become so moisture-repellent? It's kind of like if the surface was oiled, you know? however, the surface can be absolutely degreased. I can even feel it with my fingers after the peroxide - fat is unlikely.

Some users of peroxide solutions note what you are describing.

But moisture rejection occurs even before peroxide cleaning. That is why I began to try peroxide.

Sure. About peroxide - why not? just because there is a special solution produced specifically for this? There is evidence that Aosept has a chemically more favorable composition?

And about enzymatic purification, I still do not understand why Ice-loo said that it is impossible?

The question is urgent. Optics sooner or later get dirty and require cleaning. Most often outside, but sometimes also inside.

Today we will take a look at cleaning the outside. I will only comment on the presented videos, as everything is well shown and you cannot say better in words.

To clean the front and rear lens elements you will need:

1. Lint-free wipes (actually not lint-free, but microfiber). Ideal - from an optics manufacturer (I know Zeiss, Schnieder- both inexpensive and good)

2. Isopropyl alcohol (70%)

3. A brush with synthetic (read artificial) bristles. you can use a LensPen brush.

4. Photographic pear (not medical! No talcum powder inside!)

5. Talc-free latex gloves. sold at the pharmacy.

Procedure for Cleaning Photographic Optics

1. Remove the cover and use a brush to remove dust from the inside of the cover. Otherwise, it will then again be poured onto the front lens of the objective.

2. Unscrew the protective filter, if any, and brush off the dust from it with a brush. At both sides. The filter is cleaned in the same way as the front lens, so I will not dwell on it.

3. Blow off any large dust particles from the front lens with a photographic blower. The fact is that if we start doing something, and these particles will still be present on the lens and turn out to be solid, then we risk scratching the lens lens during the cleaning process.

4. Using a brush, gently remove the remaining dust from the front lens and from its edges. Usually dust gets there too, and if we don't remove it, it will scratch the edges of the lens during cleaning. The movements of the brush should be accurate and without strong pressure, so as not to roll large grains of sand along the lens, but to brush them off immediately.

5. Wet the microfiber cloth and in a circular motion, without pressure, from the center to the edge, wipe the front lens. Be sure to wipe the edge after a neatly worked out center, and so that the dirt remains on the napkin.

6. Wipe the lens dry with a dry microfiber cloth. We also work with it carefully, without pressure, and in absolutely the same way as we did in the previous paragraph, except that now our task is only to dry the surface.

7. Put on the lens cap and let the lens dry for 5 minutes.

Attention! You can also clean the rear lens in the same way, but you need to be 2 times more careful with it for the reason that if some scratches of the front lens may not be visible in the pictures, then the chances that the scratches of the rear lens will not be visible in the photo - far less.

You can buy a good kit for cleaning optics in my micro-shop.

Here I suggest watching a video on how to change lenses correctly.

How to change lenses correctly

Everything here is great, but in field conditions and in general on the street I recommend setting the lens with the rear lens down on a clean surface. The fact is that, firstly, the rear lens can be strongly recessed inward by specific model lens and then you will not clean the dust from there. Secondly, a breeze can blow and pour sand directly into the lens, which you cannot get out of the lens yourself. And with the front lens, you can remove almost any kind of dirt.

Cleaning the Disassembled Lens

By and large, I would not recommend disassembling the lens, but if you really need it, then it will not be superfluous to learn how to properly clean the internal lens of the lens.
Please note that not all lenses have internal lenses covered with an anti-scratch anti-reflective layer. So here you need to be 10 times more careful than when cleaning external lenses.
The good news is that, for example, all optics Carl zeiss Has protective coatings on all internal lenses.

Required Tools for Cleaning the Internal Lens of the Objective

1.latex gloves (talc free)

2.photographic pear (no talcum powder inside)

3.Microfiber cloths

4.laboratory acetone

5.isopropyl alcohol

6. cotton swabs

Procedure for Cleaning Internal Lenses

Method one

Air cleaning. Just try blowing the lens with pear air. This is the safest method for cleaning a lens, but liquid cleaners are often required.

Method two

You place a microfiber cloth on top of the lens surface and drip a little acetone onto it. After the napkin is soaked, you gently pull it along the lens surface. Thus, she collects dirt on herself in the process of pulling in.

Method three

We use cotton swabs. Dip the stick in isopropyl alcohol. Then, starting from the center of the lens, brush to the edges in a circular motion. Circular motions are needed in order not to leave streaks behind the wand.

Special device for holding the lens during cleaning

When assembling lenses, the lenses are cleaned as follows:

1.The place should be free from air movement and dust. dry and brightly lit. all this is best done after a shower and on a sober head.

2. Gloved hands or fingertips.

3. Prepare the napkin: take the napkin out of the box with tweezers. fold it twice so that the fold is rounded. we take a folded napkin with a clip by the edges and drip alcohol onto the fold.

4. In one hand, hold the lens or achromatic gluing by the edges.

5.We blow it well from all sides with a pear.

6. With the other hand with a clip, we draw a fold of the napkin in one smooth motion over the entire surface of the lens so that the napkin only slightly touches the glass, but confidently and everywhere.

6.If the cleaning is not satisfactory, go to step 3 again.

7. If the lens is initially very oily, then 99% will have to use several wipes. then you can run the first one as many times as you like, knowing that the last pass must be done according to all the rules.

8. After making sure with a magnifying glass that the surfaces are flawless, place the lens in the frame and cover it with an impromptu dust block.

alcohol must be pure. the napkin needs to be soaked quite a bit. it dries very quickly. nothing flows anywhere. alcohol does not touch the frames at all. the napkin cannot leave any artifacts due to the peculiarities of its structure. the fibers go along the entire length and do not stick out anywhere except the edges for which we hold.

this is what I am using:

in the picture, alcohol of purity is 99.0295% :) I think 96% will also work well, despite the impurities. the napkin will prevent them from settling on the glass.

here are the kits from serious optical suppliers:

I would not poke the lens with ear sticks. there is always a pile left.

you can clean whatever you like. I've got enough of the lenses. it was very difficult to learn how to clean lenses without the slightest trace. whatever I've tried. I couldn't get the dust and grease out. (almost an advertisement for fairies :) when I got napkins and alcohol (which was not easy), I cleaned up some of my previous assemblies.

no other method gives such a result.

I won't say anything about Lenspen. I don't even want to try to carry something on the inner lenses. it's just nonsense.
-
of course, the alcohol will not remove. that's nonsense.
-
you need to do everything possible when disassembling the lens so that dust does not get into it and so that nothing at all has to be blown / cleaned. this requires 100kg of patience and a well-prepared table.

Cleaning with LensPen

And yet, despite Roman's skepticism, cleaning the external elements with LensPen quite justified in my opinion. I cleaned the lenses in this way a lot and no consequences were noticed. This is especially true in the field, when there is neither a table nor isopropyl alcohol at hand.
Cleaning composition LensPen not disclosed, but most of all it looks like soot, which our grandfathers used to clean the lenses of lenses with.

Attached is a video on how to clean the lens using LensPen, but try to act more carefully than your comrade from the video, do not press hard on LensPen since inadvertently you can miss a small grain in the field, which, with strong pressure, will scratch the entire lens for you.

If, when examining the lens through a magnifying glass at home, you have found "soot" with LensPen, then you can now clean it as I said at the beginning of the article and get perfectly clean lenses.

Finally

Some types of lenses have anti-reflective coatings that can come off with alcohol or vigorous cleaning. These lenses include the lenses of Soviet lenses and the lens in the viewfinder.

Cleaning lens your cameras Is part of her maintenance. This should be done regularly, but not constantly. You have to be very careful during this process, but don't be afraid to touch it. It is necessary to clean the lens as soon as it gets dirty, and not in accordance with some other prerequisites. An unnecessary intrusion will do more harm than good. But when it's really time to clean your lens, here are some tips to help you:

Use an ultraviolet or colorless transparent filter

Before moving on to cleaning methods, let's focus on one important moment... This applies to all owners of DSLR cameras. We recommend purchasing a special UV or colorless transparent filter for each lens. It is better to do this when buying a camera and screw it on immediately. This protects the lens from dust, dirt, splashing water and mechanical damage... In this case, speaking of cleanliness, we no longer clean the lens, but only a protective filter. Keep in mind that filters come in different qualities. If you decide to buy a high quality lens, then it is preferable to purchase a protective filter of a high quality as well.

Hood also helps protect your camera lens, just like a dedicated lens protective lid for the front and rear of the lens. Always use them.

Lens cleaning fluid

At any photo accessory store, you can find an alcohol-based cleaning fluid that you should have. This is good remedy will eliminate fingerprints or other smudges on your lens or filter without leaving streaks or marks. Keep in mind that such a tool is used very sparingly. As a rule, a couple of drops are enough. Do not pour liquid directly onto the lens or filter. Always use a special fabric. With gentle circular motions, easily clean up unwanted dirt.

Alternatively, many photographers find it sufficient to breathe on the lens and wipe it down with a cloth. Instead of taking the risk of liquid cleaning the technique. We advise you to start by breathing and rubbing, and then move on to using a liquid for tough stains.

Cleansing wipes

These are special wipes that must be moistened with the cleaning liquid. They are made of very thin paper, which will allow you to clean the lens without leaving any scratches. These are disposable wipes. Discard immediately after use. Don't use regular cosmetic wipes. They are made from coarse fibers and can scratch your camera lens.

Cleaning cloth

An alternative to cleaning wipes is the more modern microfiber cleaning cloth. This fabric is washable. It will perfectly remove dust and grease marks from your lens. The main thing is to be aware of the proper care of such a fabric and keep it clean by washing it regularly. Or you can easily change it to a new one, since they will not cost you much.

Before using the cloth, carefully inspect the lens to make sure there are no large debris left on it. Remove any coarse dust with a blower or brush before wiping. You don't want to scratch your lens.

Special cleaning bulb for optics

Most photography shops sell a variety of lens cleaning blowers. We recommend that you use them very carefully inside your camera. You can throw a dust storm. These blowers can be great for cleaning the camera body as well as lenses. Before using the pear, point it in a safe direction and make sure there is nothing inside it.

Brushes

If a lot of dust collects on your camera, we recommend good tool which will work fine. This is a cleaning brush. Get a special piece made from fine and soft camel hair to avoid scratching your camera lens. Likewise, you could buy a special tool that has a retractable brush on one end and a cleaning swab on the other.

Silica gel

Another preventive measure. Bring some silica gel sachets with you to place in your camera bag. Small bags will absorb excess moisture from the space, thus protecting both the camera and the lens from the harmful effects of increased moisture. Remember to change these bags from time to time. After absorbing a certain amount of moisture, they become useless.

All of the above equipment will not cost you very much. You can you to find all these funds in one set... Do not buy too cheap components, but be aware that the high price does not always justify itself. Always prioritize quality. This guarantees a good result from the use of funds.
