On the official website of the city administration, it is being put into trial operation new service― monitoring of public transport movement.
The interactive map format allows you to track online the routes of buses of official city carriers, that is, all except route No. 19. For example, if you want to find out when the bus you need will arrive at your stop, you open the map using the link http:/ /transport.kamensk-uralskiy.ru, move the cursor over the desired point and it will appear necessary information about the bus arrival time.
As explained by the head of the department of information science and computer technology, Alexander Khramov, the development of this electronic service became possible thanks to the equipment of buses with the GLONASS system. Today, each carrier is obliged to inform the Unified Dispatch Service of Passenger Transport and other regulatory authorities about the time the bus leaves the route: electronic card allows you to track everyone's path vehicle.
Let us clarify: trolleybuses are not equipped with this system, and their movement cannot be monitored using an interactive map.
The project developers are specialists from the department of information science and computer technology of the city administration and their colleagues from UltraStar Development LLC.
Now the service is operating in test mode, but in the near future it will be possible to use it permanently, not only for Internet users of desktop computers and laptops, but also for owners of smartphones (Android and iOS).
