The Russian agency for medical and social information AMI and the Finam FM radio station, with the support of the distributor of medical equipment and medicines, the company IRVIN 2, are launching a series of programs under the general name “Agency medical information”, dedicated to issues of modern healthcare, medicine, pharmaceuticals and a healthy lifestyle. The Russian Agency for Medical and Social Information AMI and the International Information Agency "Russia Today", with the organizational and consulting assistance of the Central Research Institute of Organization and Informatization of Health Care of the Ministry of Health of Russia and with the support of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, for the first time assessed the quality of medical care provided by Russian medical organizations in primary care. link, on the basis of which a pilot study of Russian clinics was prepared.

The list includes 1,283 clinics providing care to children (325 clinics), adults (422 clinics), mixed populations (536 clinics) from 80 regions of the Russian Federation.

As part of the study, the activities of clinics were considered according to 44 primary parameters, which were combined by the authors into 18 assessment indicators, on the basis of which the final adapted summary index of well-being of the obtained values ​​was formed for each medical organization, region, and federal district of the Russian Federation.

As part of the project, a public vote has opened - anyone can express their attitude towards this or that clinic. To participate in the vote, they must be authorized and answer questions about whether they know their treating doctor (general practitioner), whether their doctor always explains treatment tactics, how long a patient has to wait for an appointment and examination by a doctor, whether patients are satisfied with the work of the medical institution in general. Based on the individual answers of each respondent, the assessed clinic can receive from 0 to 10 points.

The study contains data from a pilot testing of indicators to determine the level of quality of provision and accessibility of medical care by medical organizations in outpatient settings.

As part of the improvement of the project, the list of assessed indicators will be revised and objectified, which more fully reflect the activities of medical organizations. Currently, work is underway to refine and adapt the methodology used, to supplement the assessed indicators and groups of medical organizations, the result of which will be to increase the reliability of determining the well-being index of indicators, to involve in the study all medical organizations that provide medical care to the population on an outpatient basis and have an attached population and adaptation to the existing system of accounting and reporting documentation. Work to improve the rating is planned to be completed by the beginning of 2016.
