Directly below the camera is a single speaker. The quality of it, in principle, is tolerable, and the volume is also in order, but it is one with all the ensuing consequences.

But since you can install any keyboard you like on your own, I don’t see a big problem. Especially today there is plenty to choose from.

Online video is working fine. I watched several videos on YouTube and was quite pleased. With online TV, too, everything is fine. True, I turned it on only somewhere for half an hour, but if there are any problems with this, then during this time they usually appear. So everything is all right.

The microphone is very weak. Using the tablet as a voice recorder will not work. True, the instructions say that the microphone should be kept from the mouth no further than thirty centimeters. But after all, when making video calls through the same Skype, sticking your face in the tablet is also not an option. Especially when you consider the location of the microphone.

The situation with cameras is very interesting. As often happens with inexpensive models, their quality is far from perfect. In particular, the color rendition is lame, and the lack of autofocus reduces the clarity of images.

But the BQ Tablet PC 1012G has another problem that I have never encountered on other tablets. In order to take a picture with the rear camera, the tablet needs to be held motionless for a few seconds after the shutter is released.

At first glance it seems that the picture is ready. A thumbnail even appears in the interface. But if at this moment you change the position of the gadget, the picture will be corrupted.

Interestingly, the front camera is completely devoid of this drawback. Only distorted colors can be presented to her. And, of course, low resolution does not contribute to high definition.

Skype is working relatively well. Despite the weak microphone, there is enough audibility for communication. Your interlocutor may have to increase the volume on your device, but these are technical details.

The main thing is that the Internet connection is stable. Otherwise, the picture on the screen may blur. But this claim is no longer for the tablet.

Performance is one of the most enjoyable factors for which you can forgive a lot of gadgets. The power of the BQ Tablet PC 1012G sometimes makes us forget that we are dealing with a budget device, since demanding games work fine on it.

AnTuTu Benchmark app rated the performance level of the tested tablet at 12,239 points. For comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 was rated by the same program at 18,088 points. And when a budget tablet can be compared with the recent flagship, it's not just good, it's great.
